Iran animation to be ready in 2018

Iranian animation ‘Dot’ directed by Mohammad Zare is to finish production in spring 2018.

The 10-minute animation doesn’t have any dialogues and the production process might take more than a year, the director said in an interview with the media.

Set in Future, ‘Dot’ is the story of a character that lives in a society that everyone is crookbacked due to overusing technology tools.

Born in 1986 in Tabriz, Mohammad Zare is an Iranian animator and director who has worked on animation projects for Iranian national TV.

His previous project, ‘Junk Girl’ co-directed by Shalale Kheiri has so far been nominated for awards in many different film festivals around the world and recently garnered the Rivers Media Festival’s best animation award, the US.
